Miracle Of Quran

Where Two salty and sweet seas meets

Two Seas in Quran

He releases the two seas 9meeting) side by side, between the a barrier (so) neither of then transgresses" (Quran, 55: 19-20)

"And it is He who has released (simultaneously) one fresh sweet and one salty and bitter, and He placed between them a barrier and prohibiting partition" (Quran, 25:53)

"It is He Who has let free the two bodies of flowing water: one palatable and sweet, and the other salty and bitter; yet has He made a barrier between them, and a partition that is forbidden to be passed" (Quran, 25:53)

How can it be?
Modern science find this myth while Quran state it in more than 1400 years ago. For a Muslim phenomenon like it was not unusual because all happens with the power of almighty God. This does not mean a Muslim did not want to pay attention to the scientific facts about natural events like these two seas, because of this phenomenon requires a Muslim to do research and take the wisdom and knowledge.

Many of the power of God in the form of phenomena which according to most humans strange, can be a source of science research to generate substantial benefits for human life.

Modern Science has discovered that in the places where two different seas meet, there is a barrier between them. This barrier divides the two seas so that each sea has its own temperature, salinity and density. This phenomenon occurs in several places, including the divider between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean at Gibralter. A white bar can also be clearly seen at Cape Point, Cape Peninsula, South Africa where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Indian Ocean. But when the Qur’an speaks about the divider between fresh and salt water, it mentions the existence of  “a forbidding partition” with the barrier.

This phenomenon occurs in several places, including Egypt, where the river Nile flows into the Mediterranean Sea. These scientific phenomena mentioned in the Qur’an was also confirmed by Dr. William Hay, a well known marine scientist and Professor of Geological Sciences at the University of Colorado, U.S.A. Miniature Art on the Tip of Pencil

Many artists have used pencils to create works of art – but Dalton Ghetti creates miniature masterpieces on the tips of pencils.

Dalton, who works as a carpenter, has been making his tiny graphite works for about 25 years. A sculpture of Elvis Presley wearing shades, carved from a single pencil.
The 49-year-old said: “At school I would carve a friend’s name into the wood of a pencil and then give it to them as a present. Later, when I got into sculpture, I would make these huge pieces from things like wood, but decided I wanted to challenge myself by trying to make things as small as possible.

Dalton uses three basic tools to make his incredible creations – a razor blade, sewing needle and sculpting knife. He even refuses to use a magnifying glass and has never sold any of his work, only given it away to friends. He said: “I use the sewing needle to make holes or dig into the graphite. I scratch and create lines and turn the graphite around slowly in my hand”

I experimented sculpting with different materials, such as chalk, but one day I had an eureka moment and decided to carve into the graphite of a pencil”

The longest Dalton has spent on one piece was two and half years on a pencil with interlinking chains. A standard figure will take several months. He said: “The interlinking chains took the most effort and I was really pleased with it because it’s so intricate people think it must be two pencils”

When Dalton, from Connecticut, USA, first started he would become frustrated when a piece would break before being finished after he had spent months working on it. He said: “It would drive me mad when I would be just a bit too heavy-handed and the pencil’s tip would break. I would get very nervous sometimes, particularly when the piece was almost finished, and then I would make a mistake. I decided to change the way I thought about the work – when I started a new piece my attitude would be ‘well this will break eventually but let’s see how far I get. It helped me break fewer pencils, and although I still do break them, it’s not as often”

Dalton, who is originally from Brazil, has a box full of more than 100 sculptures that have broken while working on them that he affectionately calls ‘the cemetery collection’. He said: “I have quite a few broken pieces so I decided to glue them on pins and into styrofoam for a display case. People might think it’s weird I keep them but they’re still interesting. I worked on them for months so they might be dead now but at one point I gave them life”

“I don’t make any money from it but that’s not what it’s about for me. However, I would love for a gallery owner in England to fly me over to put on a show,” he said

Dalton hollowed out the centre of the wood, then carved the central column of graphite to create this hanging, linked heart

Defusable Alarm Clock

Explosive Morning with a Defusable Alarm Clock!

Inspired by the iconic look of time bombs in old movies, software engineer Michael Krumpus set out to build an alarm clock that would make his mornings more action-packed. When the alarm goes off in defuse mode, the clock starts a 10-second countdown; the correct wire, which is randomly assigned each day, has to be cut or pulled out to stop the detonation, or the clock will “explode” with noise and flashing LEDs.
Krumpus says he noticed hundreds of hits from Homeland Security personnel on his website, but the clock is completely harmless.

The Bahrain World Trade Center!

The Bahrain World Trade Center is the first skyscraper to have wind turbines integrated into the structure of the building.
Three large wind turbines are suspended between two office towers. The towers are aerodynamically tapered to funnel wind and draw air into the turbines. This airfoil tapering allows the wind to enter the turbines at a perpendicular angle and increases air speed as much as 30 percent in each of the 95 ft wide turbine rotors. The turbines supply about 15 percent of the electricity used by the skyscraper - approximately the same amount of electricity used by 300 homes.

Natural Ice Cave

The Eisriesenwelt is a natural ice cave . It is really a gift of nature which is located in Werfen district of Austria, nearly 40 km far away south of Salzburg. The Eisriesenwelt's width is more than 42 km. The Eisriesenwelt was caused to occur by the Salzach River. This river flowed in mountain occuring erosion of passages about 100 million years ago.Over the many years cracks in mountain extended too much because of erosion of rocks by water. In winter time, when air in mountain is warmer than outside air; cold air spread into the mountain and makes cooler temprature of lower areas to fall freezing point. In spring ,snow melts and this melting water flow through crevices in the mountain. When melting water reaches cold areas of the caves,it starts to freeze and turns into amazing ice formations which are visible inside the cave. In spite of 42 km length of cave , only the first 1 km , that people are allowed to see,is covered in ice.The remain part is formation of limestone. Anton Posselt,a natural scientist from Salzburg discovered Eisriesenwelt in 1879.Before discovery of cave, local people thought that it was an etrance to Hell, because of that they did not explore the caves.Posselt published a report about his discovery after one year, but the caves slipped back . Alexander von Mörk,who is a speleologist from Austria, was one of less number of people who remembered Posselt's discovery. He led several expeditions into cave beginning in 1912,which were followed by others. In 1920 some cabins and roads were constructed.(Forscherhütte,Dr. Oedl House).Tourists began to arrive sooner ,and the caves popularity suddenly increased.
